I am so excited about this new project I am releasing today with Iana Komarnytska . It’s called Artist Date, and it’s a weekly video show and podcast where Iana and I talk about travel, creativity, inspiration and living an artist’s life. The first episode is out on YouTube and we talk about our experiments in long-term travel and the concept of home.
Since November of 2020 we’ve been spending between 1 and 3 months in different places, and we thought it would be cool to share our thoughts and experiences on working remotely, creating photography, video, music and dance around the world, and seeking masters and teachers in different subjects.
You can check out the first episode on the link bellow. I hope we enjoy it, share with your friends, and join this adventure with us :)
The first episode is available on YouTube at Iana’s channel.
This episode discusses both high level and practical ideas on creating a vision for creative projects and putting plans into action.
Thoughts on my experience of doing a diary entry every day for a year.
Today's guest is Wendy Zhou and we talked about a very interesting instrument called the pipa, traditional Chinese music and Wendy's experience bringing Chinese music to the West and the bridging between traditions. We also talked about the healing power of music and her journey as an artist.
